Somerset Champions Council’s Annual Apple River Cleanup brings volunteers together to preserve one of our community’s most cherished natural resources. By removing debris and promoting river stewardship, the event strengthens environmental awareness and ensures the Apple River remains a safe, scenic destination for all.

The Somerset Haunted Hayride, co-hosted by Somerset Champions Council and the Somerset Lions, transforms Village Park into a spine-tingling trail of thrills and eerie encounters. This annual fall event blends community spirit with Halloween fun, drawing families and brave souls for a night of festive fright and local camaraderie.

Held annually in partnership with local volunteers and organizations, the event brings families together to kick off the season with warmth, wonder, and holiday spirit

At Somerset’s beloved Pea Soup Days, the Somerset Champions Council brings community flavor and festive spirit with a French heritage-themed parade entry, a crowd-pleasing pie baking contest, and a vibrant booth offering custom Pea Soup Days t-shirts and French-themed wine. This annual celebration showcases local pride with a respectful nod to our French heritage.
