The Somerset Champion's Council was born out of the Village of Somerset's (Community Action Plan) or CAP project, which was citizen-led in 2023.  The CAP volunteers, upon concluding their work, chose to form the Somerset Champions Council to keep all the recommended initiatives moving forward.  The Somerset Champions Council exists with a simple yet powerful mission: to enhance the quality of life for residents in the Somerset community. Through service, celebration, and stewardship, we work to create a community where residents feel connected, proud, and inspired to participate in shaping the place we call home. Our work centers around enhancing public spaces, preserving local traditions, honoring community members, and organizing events that bring joy and unity to Somerset.
